About Us

Bobi Martin

Hello! Thank you so much for checking us out. My name is Bobi Martin. I have been an avid and passionate horse person for over 40 years. My mother surprised me with my first horse, Badger, for my thirteenth birthday. Badger taught me a lot about being self-reliable, determined, and independent through spending several hours doing barn chores, riding, and showing.
My first passion has always revolved around horses. After high school, I attended a small women’s college in Midway, Kentucky for Equine Management and was on multiple intercollegiate riding teams for the school. I have had the opportunity to learn many life skills from the horses I have had the privilege of knowing throughout my life. I look forward to learning much more as the lead facilitator at Equi Intuition, LLC.
Life circumstances eventually led to a different career path. This being along the lines of counseling, the second passion in my life. After several decades’ absence from education, I recently acquired a master’s degree in education with a focus on counseling. I have worked as a counselor in the substance abuse and mental health field for 12 years. I am currently a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor, both through the state of Ohio.
It is through these two passions that I hope to engage people to strive for a better quality of life. Horses are well known for their power to help heal the human psyche. I am looking forward to facilitating forward motion in humans while having horses doing the teaching.
Orville

Pedal to da Kettle, aka “Orville”, is a six-year-old thoroughbred that was recently retired from racing. We got him June 25th, 2024, after the loss of two very loved horses in April and June. Orville loves attention but is not one to try to steal the limelight. He loves taking naps in his stall after it has been freshly cleaned. Who doesn’t like sleeping in a fresh bed?
